Gordon Banks

In response to an enquiry from the Alloa Advertiser in relation to Early Day Motion 1090 Gordon Banks MP for Ochil and South Perthshire said:

“Many of my constituents contact me directly urging me to sign certain EDMs and I always give this serious consideration and respond to my constituents accordingly.

I am not aware of any constituent contacting me regarding EDM 1090 however it is an issue that I have engaged with Ministers on in the past.

Furthermore I have been actively involved supporting constituents locally in securing help and support available from local providers.

I can fully accept that the demands placed on families where multiple births occur can be significant.

I am happy to support EDM 1090 by adding my name to those who have signed it and I do hope that this campaign will be useful in delivering a specific solution to a very specific problem.”
