Ochil & South Perthshire MP Gordon Banks has thrown his support behind Alloa Community Enterprise (ACE) as voting opens for the Social Enterprise Awards 2009 UK Awards.
The Alloa based company have already lifted the Large Best Scottish Social Enterprise award. The company won in the category of "operating for over three years and with a turnover of £1million plus". ACE now go on to the UK final in London on December 3rd where voting is open to win the national title.

ACE Limited is a charity registered in Scotland who operate a profitable waste management business (ACE Recycling Group) that provides training, employment, improves employability, increases environmental awareness and returns profits to support the social needs of communities in which it operates.
ACE supports communities by working in partnership with Local Authorities and business to achieve their recycling targets ahead of 2020 by investing in it’soperations and communities.
