Local MP Gordon Banks was in Alloa on Saturday morning to see the latest addition to the Imagine Alloa project – a totem pole.

The project have asked members of the local community to come forward to help and contribute to the design of the totem pole which will tell the story of Clackmannanshire.

MP Banks said – “This is another example of Imagine Alloa’s commitment to arts and crafts which will leave a lasting legacy for the town.  The project will also engage with the local community and highlight the very best skills that Alloa has to offer.”

“Many other towns and villages across Scotland have used Totem poles to tell their story and I’m delighted that Alloa has such a positive story to share.”
